Contacting Us 

Kindly note we are hard at work in the field during the day. 

We will respond to messages as quickly as possible. 

Please also know the office itself is closed on the weekends.

When contacting us, please include your full name, the address of the project, a brief description & picture(s), a cell phone number to reach you and an email address for sending the estimate.

Sending us pictures of your project, especially repairs, will speed the process along and get you the answers you need quickly. It also allows us to offer alternatives if we are not the best fit for your project.  

          We certainly do not wish to waste anyone's time.

What's What

Pool equipment enclosures~ yes, but only before lines are run not after.  

Driveway gates~ yes we install, though you will need to hire an electrician for the operation portion. 

Deer Netting~ No, absolutely not.  It is dangerous to the deer, birds, and other living creatures.

While every attempt is made to leave your property how we found it, and we are quite successful, if you don't want your roses bushes harmed, please consider a different location for your fence. These big guys work hard not delicate! :)

Please pick up the prizes your pets have left in the yard ~ we have our own 3 rescue pups to clean up after.

We are at the mercy of others when it comes to pricing and availability of some materials and things haven't been easy -pandemic wise.

Pssst, guess what?  PVC is not maintenance free & Chain Link fence usually costs the same as wood.  

What to Expect 


During the season, all our free estimates are scheduled on Saturdays only and in time slots of either 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to narrow the timeframe due to travel distances and varying needs at each appointment. On occasion we may run a bit early or even a bit behind as each customer requires a different level of attention to their fence project.


A homeowner does need to be present for the estimate appointment.  Estimates cannot be provided off of drawings or pictures or with anyone other than the homeowner onsite.  While it seems simple to provide another fence company estimate to get a comparison price, that's not the case. The other company has had the advantage of seeing the property and addressing any issues ( i.e. rock, hills, special brackets, landscape items, etc) within their quote.

Knowledge of your property lines/pin location (surveys) as well as HOA regulations is essential prior to our arrival. Please also be prepared to know which style of fence you want, as measuring and product explanations are what happens at your estimate, not design. Trust us, you don't want the Marine giving style advice ! :) 

Your estimate will be emailed to you as soon as possible. We sometimes give Ben a day off on Sundays and occasionally we will have to wait for material pricing, from our vendors, for styles that we do not stock.  Some materials have been increasing difficult to get, so please be patient with us.  You will receive a text notice that we have emailed your estimate. Please click the Review & Pay button to see the details. Terms & Conditions are always attached. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.


This is a sticky wicket kind of question. While we can give you our best guess estimate from experience, and we do our level best to keep our timeline, there are so many factors that impact the scheduling.  We work on a first come first serve basis, regardless of job size you will have to wait your turn, as deposits are submitted jobs fill the schedule. So if we tell you today that we are x number of weeks out, and then 12 deposits arrive before yours, well.. you get the point.  Keep in mind material lead times, permits, and surveys can delay your project. Let's also not forget Mother Nature !

Moving Forward with BYM 

If you decide to move forward, yay! Submitting a deposit is what gets you on the schedule. Again, clicking the Review & Pay button will get you to the payment screen where you can adjust the amount using the Edit button or pencil Icon (they keep changing it on us!). You are of course also welcome to call the office with a credit card number or mail a check if that is your preference. Please know that we will wait the 3 day rescind period prior to ordering any materials. 


After Hiring BYM

We will confirm receipt of your deposit but then you will likely not hear from us again until a few days prior to us coming out to complete your project.  So don't worry, we didn't forget about you! 

Permit is the responsibility of the homeowner. Check with your township/borough for specific requirements.

Documents required for the permit process will be supplied to the municipality directly upon their request.​

BYM will submit a NC One Call ( 811-'Call before you dig') when necessary .
